CKK Jordanki

The Cultural and Congress Centre Jordanki represent 22,000 m2 of exceptional architecture located in the very heart of Toruń, in the vicinity of the Old Town listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its multifunctional and modular arrangement provides a setting for even the most daring cultural events, as well as for large conferences, congresses and fairs. The Centre building contains a concert hall (1012 m2 with 884 seats) and a chamber hall (315 m2 with 287 seats) which can be joined. By using mobile auditoriums, it is possible to organise events requiring flat floors, i.e, balls, fairs, car shows, or those in a theatre settings in both halls. In the concert room, acoustics can be modified with mobile ceilings, while the chamber room is equipped with a 3D cinema system. Furthermore, the Centre contains three modular conference rooms, a restaurant, a professional press room, a recording studio, and an underground car park for 185 cars.
The building was designed by Fernando Menis, an architect of world renown, and its unique form and modern solutions for acoustics and shaping of the auditorium area, perfectly combine aesthetic and functional values.
