Who wouldn’t want to sit in the audience of a Broadway theatre and be swept away by the biggest musical hits? Although Toruń is a far cry from the famous American district, the Toruń Symphony Orchestra, along with three talented soloists— Daniel Cebula-Orynicz, Wioleta Malchar-Orynicz, and Weronika Skalska—will bring the magic of Broadway to the city of Copernicus, taking its residents on an unforgettable musical journey.

The musicians will perform some of the most recognizable songs from shows that have captivated audiences worldwide. Two of these songs will transport the audience to the colourful and hedonistic 1920s. In Berlin, it was a period of tensions and contradictions, perfectly captured in the song Willkommen from the musical Cabaret. Meanwhile, the smoky atmosphere of American clubs, where jazz mingled with jealousy and passion, is vividly depicted in All That Jazz from the musical Chicago.

Listeners will have the chance to reflect on the benefits of fortune with the protagonist from Fiddler on the Roof through the song If I Were a Rich Man. Nostalgic notes and a longing for the past resonate in Memory, one of the most famous songs from the musical Cats. The violent melody of Tango Roxanne from the musical Moulin Rouge and the suspenseful songs from Phantom of the Opera will transport listeners to early 20th-century Paris—a world of artists, love, and mystery. Fans of more joyful and dance-inducing tunes will delight in songs from the musicals Mamma Mia! and Singin' in the Rain.
