Leading you through these Impressionist Meditations are Małgorzata and Kuba Marciniak, a married couple whose profound love for each other is beautifully intertwined with their shared passion for music. This captivating duo of talented artists thrives on creating their own compositions that seamlessly blend elements from classical music, jazz, and folk traditions. While their preferred instruments are the saxophone and vibraphone, they are not afraid to explore other remarkable members of the percussion family. Impressionist Meditations, their latest project, made its grand debut at the XXII International Festival 'Music in the Cathedral' in Kołobrzeg in 2022. The concert programme features original works by the duo, paying homage to the profound influence of prominent French impressionist composers such as M. Ravel, C. Debussy, A. Roussel. Drawing inspiration from the masterpieces of the past, Małgorzata and Kuba fearlessly embark on a musical expedition that pushes the boundaries of genres.
