The hotel is located in the former factory building of the company ‘Toral’, built in the early 1970s next to a factory existing from 1958, which is now the seat of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office. In October 1996, the first ‘Filmar’ shopping centre in Toruń was opened in the rebuilt and modernised post-factory building, and this was adapted for a hotel of the same name, which opened in September 2004. Originally a three-star hotel, it has had four stars since 2010.
