The Music from the Moon concert offers much more than just a captivating multimedia show; it’s a unique encounter with the greatest hits of popular music, primarily from the realms of rock and film. Esteemed artists from the Polish entertainment scene, including Karolina Leszko, Sylwia Lorens, Kamil Franczak, Łukasz Drapała, and Kamil Skicki, will grace the stage, inviting the audience to partake in an unforgettable cosmic celebration that propels them towards the stars. The concert’s repertoire delves into legendary pieces inspired by a fascination with the cosmos, charting unexplored realms of musical expression to offer listeners an alternate Universe brimming with human emotions and profound questions. This stellar event will be elevated by famous quotes related to extraterrestrial space, off-stage narration, numerous visualisations, and innovative technical solutions, including the mesmerizing addition of a laser harp to the instrumentation.
The dynamic repertoire will undoubtedly include a carefully selected excerpt from Pink Floyd’s iconic album, The Dark Side of the Moon, which ranks as the second best-selling album in history. In addition to this iconic piece, the evening will enchant with an array of songs that infuse a touch of moonlight into the musical atmosphere. These include the evocative ballad Rocket Man, the reggae-infused Walking on the Moon, and the jazzy classic Fly Me to the Moon. Moreover, David Bowie’s legendary Space Oddity will take centre stage, a poignant rock ballad about an astronaut lost in the infinite expanse of the Universe. The programme will also feature a delicate composition Canto della Terra, a moving ode to love bathed in the glow of the approaching dawn. Avenue of the Stars will immerse listeners in an intriguing world of constant change and astonishing twists of fate—an integral aspect of the journey beneath the ‘sky of the stars’. Music enthusiasts can anticipate a delightful rendition of Budka Suflera’s well-known hit, the atmospheric Noc Komety (Night of the Comet), where a meteor shower unlocks the door to a realm of "sultry dreams" filled with captivating associations. Furthermore, the programme will include the surrealistic Black Hole Sun, a song from the renowned musical Les Misérables, The Beatles’ uplifting Here Comes the Sun, which resonates with a lyrical celebration of life, and an array of other musical treasures. The evening will reach its zenith with themes from Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
